Despicable Me

If you want authentic hot ramen and gyoza in Cebu, I'd say go to Kamikechi.  Nothing quite like it anywhere else in town and it tastes just like those served in Japan.  It's one quaint restaurant and takes a little while for food to be served (when it's full).

While waiting for our hot ramen in Kamikechi, I've found new treasure next door.  Pirated DVDs are now selling at 3 for a P100 while blue-ray copies in tin packaging are selling at P80 and I can conveniently park right in front.  I'm so out,  it's that cheap these days ey?!  (It's even cheaper at Traveller's Lodge in downtown.)

Because of Citibank's free movie passes, I guess I've watched more movies last year, than the rest of my lifetime combined.  But I missed a few stuff, I grabbed a copy of Social Networking and bought treats for my niece and nephews... they sure loved "How to Train Your Dragon", "Despicable Me" and "Tangled" (now showing).
Despicable Me - How can the pyramid of egypt be stolen?!

It happens to the best of us.  Someone sent me a message saying that he/she can join us in our next journey.  What the heck, I thought.  Obviously, I didn't like the idea.  Over the years, I've come to realize that the company matters more than just seeing places.  I forwarded the news with a big mocking laugh, unfortunately, I subconsciously sent it back to the former.  I made the lousiest excuse to get away with it.  I doubt if I did, I received the most mocking response.  Oh well, my mistake.  Anyway, the message has been sent - literally and figuratively. Despicable* me!

What a way to start the year of the rabbit.

*Despicable is defined as deserving to be despised; so worthless or obnoxious as to rouse moral indignation.

yeah that's the one. any other leads? one that's here and not in sapporo! hehe well, it's best option i have in town. The noodles itself are just too good, nothing like it in any ramen house here. Others say nonki, but I don't like it there.

for gyoza, i now have an alternative, Shabu-way has great gyoza too! :)

is it worth a 10 hour train ride just to have a taste on that noodles?! :) how about in tokyo? i heard there's one good ramen in Tsukiji.
